Scrapping and Bees!!!

I love to scrap but I HATE BEES!!!!!! or this one was a yellow jacket. Dummy me walking around outside with no shoes on, watering my plants. And what do I step on...... A yellow Jacket!!! Oh the pain in my right foot. Thsnk God hubby dips. Wet tobacco is the only cure I know of of getting the bee venom out of a sting. But at least it works!!! No my foot is swollen right below the ball of my foot. That will be fun to walk on tomorrow when we go to Benning!!

On the bright side here is a Layout I did today for Hubbies Sinai book.

Happiness is......

sitting at the computer all alone, one kitty sleeping next to the computer all curled up and your dog curled up around your feet sleeping. That is what happiness is and all is right in this household for the evening. Have a great weekend!!!

Just another day

Well just another day here on the south 40.

All of this on the news about Mel Gibson. Okay I cannot condone his remarks and his possible DUI. But gee, words are words. Everyone these days take everything and blow it outta context. I am more worried about other events going on in the world today than what Mr. Gibson said while he was drunker than Cooter Brown!!

I mean What is the world coming too if all that is blasted about the headlines that an actor made an ass of himself drunk??

I am more worried about the Med East than what he said.

At least he is getting treatment and he went voluntarily to Rehab and has admitted he has a problem with alcohol. Some people do not even get that far.

Okay Next subject

I am soo sad that Product Playground has come to an end. Lisa Damrosch has been one of the best Instructors I have had with all tha classes I have taken from The Big Picture Scrapbooking classes. I can only wait till later this year when Lisa does her next class for BPS. I am sure I will sign up for this one.

Not much on the scrapping side this week so far. I have been busy altering chipboard for a board book I am making for the storage of all my photo Cd's. As soon as I get that finished I will upload and show it off. I am doing it in all Chatterbox papers. I have a few hundred so it might put a dent in them.

TGIF.... I think

Well it cooled down for a little bit, now it is back to being hot, hot, hot. Of course my happy littel booty stays inside the house on these hot days. I just wish I could get out and enjoy the summer like I used to. But that was 20 years ago and 2 heart attacks.

Donnie is still trudging away at Publix. I know he hates the job. He does not mind the work but just hates the job. Does that make any sense??

I have a crop tomorrow to go to. I am not for sure if I am gonna stay the whole day. Just really feel like staying home and crawling up in a little ball and sleeping. But can't do that can we?? I wish I was little again. about 5 years old would do, and not have to worry about anything except when I was gonna get a cookie??? Bee nice wouldn't it?

RAIN RAIN GLORIOUS RAIN!!!!!

It is raining!!!!! We have really been having a rain problem around here, not too much but lack of. Well it atarted last night raining and as I type right now it is thundering and raining more. My yard has actually become a chamoeloen overnight. Instead of brown and yucky looking , it is GREEN!!!! Glorious Green!!!!

LSS garage sale was yesterday. I did not do too bad, $143.00. But now I am contimplating on if I want the new tote for $99.00 and them goodies or use my old tote and buy $143 dollars in goodies??? Decisions, Decisions. What is a girl to do????

Finally, every year for the past 6 years I have watched for 3 weeks in July The Tour De France. Well I have been glued to the TV the past 3 weeks again thins year watching every stage numerous times. Congratulations to Floyd Landis!!! What an inspiring ride, since in a about a month he will be undoing replacement surgery for his hip. Great job!!!! I am in awe

AHHHH Saturday

Just another typical Saturday right......wrong. Awake this morning at 3:30 am to find Husband searching den. He had misplaced his glasses. So he I am up and about looking for them. Well I found them, under the bed, and totally chewed by the Pitiful puppy. Needless to say that is $250.00 shot to hell in a hand basket. So now Dh needs new glasses. Thanks God Walmart takes payments on them and Don just needs them for reading or we would really be up a creek without a boat or a paddle. So here we go just another UNUSAL Saturday to deal with. Hopefully the LSS Yard sale is doing good and all of my stuff will be gone.

Just a regular Friday...... NOT!

I thought last night when i went to bed that today would be a typical Friday for me, cleaning, laundry. cooking dinner, and of course some scrapping time included. Well rewind to 3:30 this morning. Tater and Pitiful start barking at god knows what. Needless to say I am awake. Well after an hour of playing on the computer, they finally settle down. AHHH..... back to sleep.
Now I have to get my butt in gear and do the 3s's and get ready to take all of my unloved scrap goodies to the LSS garage sale. Wish me luck!! I have at least if I sell it all, $250.00 dollars in cradit with the LSS. That means a new Scrapping tote for me!!! So keep your fingers crossed!

I finished this layout yesterday and I am really proud of it. Some of my Dad's old photos from Italy during WWII also a poem he wrote about a battle he was in. Hope you enjoy.
